The Art Loeb Trail is a 30.1-mile (48.4 km) trail located in Pisgah National Forest. The Northern Terminus is at the Daniel Boone Boy Scout Camp in Haywood County, while the trail's southern Terminus is located near the Davidson River Campground, near Brevard. Along the way, the trail traverses several significant peaks, including Black Balsam (6,214 ft), Tennent Mountain (6040 ft) and Pilot Mountain (5095 ft).

We will be meeting at Backcountry Outfitters at the entrance to Pisgah forest near Brevard at 7:00AM, Saturday the 19th, then drive over to Camp Daniel Boone to stage a return vehicle. A car will also be staged at Black Balsam for anyone interested in a roughly 20-mile course.

Runners should start at the Art Loeb trail-head near Davidson River Campground at 9:00.

There are currently three runners. If anyone is interested in joining in with us, e-mail Dave Pryor at davepryor@bellsouth.net or call (828) 712-0786.
